Another feather was added to Valenzuela City Police Station's (VCPS) cap as it received three Unit Awards and a Special Individual Award during the celebration of the 118th Police Service Anniversary of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) held at Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City, August 13, 2019. VCPS was cited for having the Highest Accomplishment in Project Double Barrel, Highest Percentage of Arrested/Neutralized Top Wanted Persons, and Most Number of Cleared Barangays in the City Police Station/Municipal Police Station category. Valenzuela Police Chief PCol Carlito M. Gaces received the awards on behalf of the VCPS. PSSg Ramon Barcelino of the VCPS Station Community Affairs and Development was also awarded a plaque of recognition for being named the first-ever "Best Pulis sa Barangay".
